Mahalepi or mahallepin is a Cypriot, usually lenten sweet in the form of a cream with a rose aroma. Mahalepi recipe by Chef George Tsoulis

Tip: Cut the mahalepi into whatever size you want, either thick pieces or thin ones.
Ingredients
- 1 lt milk, whole
- 70 g νισεστέ
- 50 g sugar, crystalline
- 60 g Herbalife Formula 1 Forest Fruit
For serving:
- 2 tbsp. Herbalife Formula 1 Fruit Of The Forest
- 400 ml water, lukewarm
Implementation
- Place a large deep saucepan over medium heat, pour in all the ingredients and stir constantly with a hand whisk until the mixture is firm.
- Once it is ready, remove the pot from the heat, pour the mixture into a 25x25cm baking tray, in which we have spread an oiled film and transfer it to the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Once 2 hours have passed, cut the mahalepi into pieces.
- At the same time, pour water into a bowl and 2 tbsp. Herbalife Formula 1 Forest Fruits and mix them with a spoon until they are homogenous. Once the mixture is ready, transfer it to four bowls.
- Finally, place the pieces of mahalepi in the bowls and serve.
